Training

The Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Union has always been recognized as the best trained and educated individuals in the insulation and abatement industries. The training that our members receive, both on the job as well as through our national curriculum provided by the International Insulation Industry Apprentice Training Fund, guarantees the quality craftsman that our Union is proud of.

In addition to our five-year Apprenticeship Programs, Insulator’s Local 26 offers continuing education opportunity that includes journeymen up grade training and certification, as well as an associate’s degree program. Some of the many opportunities are:

• OSHA 30
• Asbestos Handler
• Asbestos Supervisor
• Effective Foreman Training
• Professional Craftsman Code of Conduct
